Charlene Biggs Kimborough

June 19, 1960 — February 5, 2020

Charlene Kimbrough was born to the late Willie Richard Biggs, Sr. and Sara Biggs in Talbotton, Georgia.

She is a graduate of Central of Talbotton High School, Talledega College, and Flint Technical School. Early in life, Charlene earned a cosmetology license and began a lifelong career as cosmetology instructor at Southern Crescent Technical School. During her career she impacted many lives as she helped her students succeed.

She was a faithful member of St. Phillips AME Church in Talbotton, Georgia and was known and loved for her larger than life personality and willingness to help others in the community.

Charlene Kimbrough was preceded in death by her father Willie Richard Biggs, Sr. and her sister Sara Powell.

She is survived by her mother Sara Biggs (Talbotton, Ga), her son Cedric (Arlena) Williams (Columbus, Ga), a Special Companion Tony McCommons (Columbus, Ga),  five grandchildren, Tyasia Williams, JaQuandre Dozier, Keondre Dozier, Kalyse Owens, and Cedric Williams, Jr.  She leaves her siblings Willie (Sharon) Biggs (Hampton, Ga), Eddie Biggs (Columbus, Ga), Reverend Alfred (Mary) Biggs (Thomaston, Ga), Christopher (Verna) Biggs (Thomaston, Ga), Carrie Edwards (Talbotton, Ga), Apostle Theresa (Earnest) Smith (Talbotton, Ga), James (Kimmarie) Seay (Colorado),  Angela (Clifford) Grosse (North Carolina),  and Lynn Horton (Woodland, Ga). She also leaves  a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss her dearly.
