Daisy Lee Mitchell

The Angels of Heaven descended to earth and sealed the lips of our beloved Mother on Friday, August 7, 2020.  Mother Daisy Lee Mitchell was born on October 3, 1937 to Mr. & Mrs. Milton & Daisy Thornton in Woodland, GA.

She joined Friendship Baptist Church of Woodland, Georgia.  She was united in holy matrimony to Alfred Mitchell, Sr. She was a homemaker, loving family member and friend.

Mother Daisy L. Mitchell was preceded in death by several loved ones. Her Husband, Alfred Sr., Three Sons: Roger, Alfred Jr., Sandrell and One Daughter: Juanita, Her parents: Milton and Daisy Thornton and Three Brothers: James Milton, Rudolph and Willie Thornton.

She leaves to Cherish her memories: A loving son: Jeffrey Mitchell of Woodland, Ga, Three Daughters: Elizabeth Thornton of Woodland, GA, Deanna Mitchell of Woodland, GA and Frances (Petry) Lucas of Harris County, GA. One sister, Bernice Harvey of Brooklyn, New York. Two aunts Louise Holmes of Talbotton, GA and Lucy M. Peters of Woodland, GA. Several loving and thoughtful sister-in-laws. A host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
