Dorothy Ann Prather

The Angels of Heaven descended to earth and sealed the lips of our beloved Dorothy Ann Prather on Friday, January 15, 2021.  Sis. Dorothy Ann was born on February 14,1953 to the late Romeo and Louise Warrior Prather in Manchester, GA.

She was educated in Meriwether County School Systems.

She joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. Sis. Dorothy was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church, when you saw Dot, you always would see her other sisters. Dot made sure she brought her two granddaughters to church.

She retired from Goody Products.  After retirement Dorothy later became employed with Georgia Pacific.  Dot later started working as the custodian at New Hope Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and great friend to all those she came in contact with.

Sis Dorothy Prather was preceded in death by one brother: Jimmy Lee Prather.

In accordance with State ordinances mask and social distance are required.
