Jessie Lee Jarrett

Bro. Jessie Lee Jarrett was born November 15,1936 in Harris County to the late William Jarrett and Ever Lee Jarrett. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 4,2016 at Columbus Hospice.

He joined Spring Hill Community Baptist Church and served until his health failed.

He worked at Roosevelt Institute for over thirty years. He was a humbled, and God spirit man. He loved his wife so much.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his wife: Mattie Pearl Jarrett of Shiloh, Georgia. One daughter Bonnie ( Micheal) Davis of Geneva, Georgia, One Son Frankie (Sandra) Copeland of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Six grandchildren: Kyra Copeland, Kobe Copeland, Carlos Bussey, Regina Campbell, Lucille Carter, Damien Carter. Two great grandchildren: DeAsia Smith, Qua'miya Carter. Three brothers: Charlie Jarrett, Earnest (Rosa) Jarrett of Shiloh, Georgia. Jimmy ( Minnie) Jarrett of Gay, Georgia. Five Sisters: Mattie, Beulah (J.D.), Elaine (Johnny) of Shiloh, Georgia. Maxie of Douglasville, Georgia, Barbara (James) of Columbus, Georgia. Sister-in-laws: Mattie (Dexter) Thomas of Columbus, Georgia, Willie Lou (Melvin) Parks of Greenville, Georgia. One brother-in-law Jimmy (Cassandra) Huff of Manchester, Georgia. One aunt: Blanche Stanley of Hamilton, Georgia. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
