Josephine Reese was born to the late James Tiger and Rose Lee Holloway on March 17 th 1952 in Manchester, Ga. She join New Hope Baptist Church at a young age. She later moved to Atlanta Ga in 1968. Josephine would still visit New Hope on the 2 nd Sunday in August for homecoming when her health allowed her to attend.
Josephine became a faithful member of International New Thought Christian Church where the late Dr. Barbara King was the Pastor.
Our mother Josephine T. Reese entered the garden of beautiful flowers where the Lord had a opening just for her, Then he whispered in her ear my Dear you are free at last , Our mother was for sure one of a kind, always about her business and always family first.
Josephine was proceeded in death by a beautiful daughter the Monique L. Johnson, siblings: Dorothy Jean Favors , Johnny Will Howard, and Edward Howard.
She leaves cherish her memories two children: One daughter: Miranda S. Holt of Atlanta, GA.; one son: Joshua Terez Reese of Atlanta, GA.; one grandson Jamires Johnson, of Atlanta, GA.; one son-in-law:James Johnson; one brother: Roosevelt Howard (Gussie) of Conyers, GA.; One sister Gladys Carter of Atlanta, GA.; a brother-in-law: Billy Favors; Also a grandson on the way, Saint Joshua Alexander Reese, and a host or nieces and nephews who looked up to her and loved her with all of their heart. Josephine is already sadly missed by family and friends.
