Juanita Frazier

December 23, 1934 — July 17, 2023

On Monday, July 17, 2023, the heavens opened and another one of God’s children was called home. Sister Juanita entered rest at her home.


Sister Juanita was born December 23, 1934 to the late Willie Ben and Adell Waller Dixon in Talbot County, Georgia.


She joined St. Paul CME Church at an early age and served until her health declined.


August 1961, she was joined in Holy Matrimony with the late James Frazier, Jr. of Manchester, Ga. Shortly afterward the family relocated to Atlanta, Ga. She was employed by Atlanta Linen Services, where she retired after 30 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed working in her flower beds and going to the Thomasville Senior center. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandma and great grandma.


She leaves to cherish her memories to caring and loving family of one daughter: Ms. Tammie Jones of Riverdale, GA; two grandchildren; Mr. James Anthony Dixon of Atlanta, GA and Mrs. Tonae Rhoden (Jason) of Huntsville, AL and two great grandchildren. Two sisters; Mrs. Ruby Barron of Youngstown, OH and Ms. Patricia Coffee of Snellville, GA. One brother, Mr. Larry Dixon (Josephine) of Riverdale, GA. One sister-in-law, Mrs. Lois Dixon of Warm Springs, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.


Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ben and Adell Waller Dixon, three brothers; Willie James, Horace and Harold Dixon.
