Mary T. Jones was born to the late Alonzo M. and Hattie J. Terry on September 25,1932 in Talbot County Ga.
Mary T. Jones went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2019 .
Mary retired from K-Mart Corporation where she worked as a department manager for twenty years .
Mary was a faithful member of Central Holiness Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Mother Board , serving as president for twenty two years .
During her lifetime her passions was serving God, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She had an unwavering faith in God and served Him until the end.
She is preceded in death by her firstborn ,Winston J. Jones , sisters Annie Lee Terry, Lucy Middlebrooks and Louise Terry , brothers , Bobby, Jake, Fred, Robert and Charlie Terry.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children, Lloyd Jones (Hampton , GA) , Berlenthia Jones, Riverdale,Ga.; and Malcolm Jones, East Point, Ga.; nine grandchildren: Terrenzo, Tevonnon (Erin) ,and Trinecia Jones, Denver CO.; Devin Jones, Ferguson MO.; Malcolm Jones Jr., North Carolina, Giovanna Anderson (Craig) of Killeen TX.; Jamica Johnston, San Antonio TX.; Shaunice Fontil, North Carolina; and Shannon Adu, Dacula GA.; one-great grandson: Tevonnon Jones, Jr., Denver, CO.;
sisters Golden Hardnett, Manchester, Ga.; Jeanette Copeland and Dorothy Gamble, Reading, PA.; sister in-law Geneva Copeland, Manchester, Ga.; beloved niece: Judy Williams, Detroit, with whom she shared a special mother-daughter bond , devoted caretaker Angela Butler and a host of nieces, nephews , relatives and friends .
