Mildred Whitehead

Mildred Copeland Whitehead was born April 10, 1933 to the late Mattie and Governor Copeland in Shiloh, Ga.

She departed this life early Monday, Morning November 18 ^th at her home in Hamilton, Ga.

She moved to Atlanta, Ga. in her early years she had a huge love for kids, but never was able to have her own children.  She became a mother of many.

She was a very loving and compassionate wife and a loving friend to everyone she met.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband: Oscar Whitehead of Shiloh, GA.; one sister: Estelle Simpson of Hamilton, GA.; One brother: Jesse Lee Copeland of Atlanta, GA.; a loving step daughter Dorothy Hicks of Columbus, GA.;  step grandsons: Zack, Junior Erick and Wayne and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
