Tamara Carvette Ellison Cochran was born to the late John Paul "JP" Ellison and Betty Faye Ellison on August 8,1976 in Columbus, GA.

Tamara accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Central Elementary Middle School before transferring to Macon County High School. She continued her education in Medical Coding and Billing.

Tamara leaves to cherish her memories her husband Antonio Cochran; two loving and devoted daughters Ariyah Copeland and Morgan Cochran; two step children Olivia Cochran and Antonio Cochran; one loving sister Lashanda Marshall; one devoted brother Cedrick (Shereka) Marshall; father and mother in law Mr. Eddie Cochran Sr. and Mrs. Olivia Cochran; one sister in law Tangla Cochran; two brothers in law Kevin (Rochelle) Cochran and Eddie Cochran Jr.; one niece Paige Marshall; three nephews SwaDrick Marshall; Jakeith Hodo Jr., and Cedrick Marshall Jr.; one God child Tylan King; close friends Tivisha Ivory, Ulonda Reese, Nikki McGhee, Angela Hamler and Jean Taylor; a special aunt Perlene Maddox and host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
