Willie Lee Harris

Willie Lee Harris was born to the late Lillie Pearl Holmes Harris and Will Harris on April 12,1932 in Talbot County Ga.

Willie Lee went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2019.

Will Lee, which he was always, called, was educated and received his High School Diploma Talbot County School System.

After, Will Lee completed High School he entered in the United States Air Force on April 21, 1952 in Columbus, Ga.  He received a National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

He was married to the late Thelma Lee Prather on September 28, 1950.  They were married for 68 years.  His wife Thelma Lee Harris precedes him in death.

He was employed with Grub’s Grocery Store as a butcher. Will Lee joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age.  He served as an usher.

He leaves to cherish his memories two children, Darlene Harris and Marie Harris Bryant both of Manchester, Ga.; One grandchild: Kevin Bryant Jr. of Manchester, Ga.; niece and nephew: Ruby (Haskell) Anthony and Rufus (Linda) Hill all of Manchester, Ga.; One aunt: Ruby Harris Davis. of Columbus, Ga.; Cousins: James and Carolyn Harris of Manchester, Ga.; Cora Lee Harris Dobson of Columbus, Ga.; Christine Harris of Atlanta, Ga. Dwight Lester Harris of California.  He also leaves a host of relatives, cousins  and friends that will miss him dearly.
