Bobby Stevenson

Bro. Bobby Stevenson Sr. was born on December 29, 1947, to the late Jessie Stevenson Sr. and Leala Nell Stevenson.

He transitioned on December 21, 2023, at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia, surrounded by family.

He worked for CSX Railroad for 40 plus years as a Freight Conductor. He really took pride in his work.

Bro. Stevenson was well known and had a great sense of humor. He was affectionately called “Mr. Big Stuff” His grandchildren called him “Big Daddy”.

Bedsides his parents, he is preceded in death by his two daughters: Teresa and Tanika Stevenson. He also was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Jimmie Lee Stevenson Sr. and Walter Stevenson (Boone).

He Leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Mashelia (Anthony) Terry and Jacquelyn Stevenson: one son, Bobby Treasurelin Stevenson Jr.; one sister: Minister Mary S. Fleming; three brothers: Elder Jessie Stevenson Jr., Willie Ralph Stevenson Jr., Byron (Angela) Stevenson; one uncle: Jerry Hardnett; one aunt: Odeesser Hardnett three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
