A Time To Be Born

Deverly McCrory was born on January 30, 1955, to the late Eunice McCrory Hill and Franklin McCrory in Meriwether County. She was the second child of six children.

A Time To Live

Deverly grew up and attended school in the Talbot County School System. Deverly worked and retired from Cagle’s plant in Pine Mountain Valley, Georgia.  She worked as a janitor at Mountain View Elementary School in Manchester, GA until her health failed.

Deverly loved her family and her church.  She was the comedian of her family and was famously know for her potato salad. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She was a collector of many things! You name it, she had it. She loved gardening, spending time with her family and yard sale shopping.

A Time Of Transition

Deverly departed this earthly home to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice McCrory Hill and Franklin D. McCrory.

Deverly McCrory leaves to cherish her memory two devoted children Tyres McCrory and Kacie M. Callier of Manchester, GA, Step Mother Leanour McCrory of Reading PA,  four sisters, Georgia Ann Eady of LaGrange, GA,  Vivian McCrory of Shiloh, GA, Pamela Smith of Dothan, Alabama and Laverne Wallace of Fort Lauderdale FL, four brothers Franklin David McCrory(Angelyn) of Ellenwood, GA, Dexter McCrory(Martina) of Haven Connecticut, Gary Tucker of College Park, GA, and Jason Richardson of Columbia, MD, Nieces and Nephews, Yolanda, Christopher, Nivea, Jacob, Devon, Chloe, Elijah, Danielle, Mekayla, Logan and Jeremiah. Great nieces and nephews, Gasmyne, Myesha, Graylan, Nathan, Adarius, Gavyn, Jonathan, Jaylen, Messiah and Justin. Two great great nephews, Zion and Jaden. Four aunts, Gladys Campbell of Detroit, Michigan, Julia Moore of Atlanta, GA, Gloria Harrison (Wiley) of Decatur, GA and Jewel McCrory of Worcester, MA.  And a host of relatives andd friends.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 12:00 at Pineview Memorial Garden located at Dairy Loop Shiloh, Ga. 31826

In accordance with City and State ordinances, everyone must wear a face mask and social distance.
