Jasper Carreker was born July 13, 1956 to the late Sterlin and Martha Carreker. He had 9 siblings of which 5 preceded him in death (James Henry, Robert, Willie, Jesse, and Lillian).

A Time to Serve

Jasper was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he joined at an early age.

A Time to Learn

Jasper attended school at Central High School in Talbotton, GA. He also attended Atlanta Area Tech School of Dentistry.

A Time to Work

Jasper was employed by Atlanta Dental Lab where he worked for 5 years. He later worked for Anaconda Aluminum for 10 years. In 1992, Jasper became employed at Georgia Regional Hospital, a company he loved and retired from after 26 years.

A Time to Love and Be Loved

To cherish his memories Jasper leaves four loving sisters Barbara Golden, Frances Cobb, Jean Carreker, and Debra Carreker; two sister-in-law’s Susie Carreker and Linda Carreker; two aunts Exie M. King and Louise Carreker; a special niece Velena Mixon; a God brother Michael Cloud, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
