Sis. Johnnie Bell King was born on June 4, 1938 in Talbotton, Ga. Johnnie Bell King was born to the late Roscoe and Sallie Emma Turner.
Johnnie Bell King attended school at St. Paul’s school.
She accepted Christ a St. Paul at an early age and later and moved to Atlanta, Ga. where she joined the Greater Mosley Chapel Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia during the late 1960’s where she served faithful until her death . She was a member of Senior Choir of Greater Mosley.
She was married during the late 1950’s to David King.
She worked at Lord and Taylor for several years. Later working at the Square D and Snapper. She later went back until the private sector where she worked for many years with several families.
Auntie loved the Lord and her family. She was so loved by everyone she touched because of her genuine care for all. She was so active walking approximately four miles five days per week. She loved cooking and working with her flowers in the yard.
One of her greatest joys was her family. She was her happiest when all when she was until family.
Sis. Johnnie Bell received her wings to be with Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2018. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Janie, Annie Mae, Susie Lue, Leola, Sol, Joe, James and Fermin.
Auntie’s nieces and nephews were her beloved children who loved and cared for her as she loved and cared for them.
Sis. Johnnie Bell leaves to cherish her memories: Sallie, Mary, Larry, Emmett, Exie, Stuart, Lynn, Ann, Gerald, Francis and Debra the following nieces and nephews held a prominent part in her life, for she played a significant part in their upbringing. A special friend: Joanne Melson Carter. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
