Mr. Oscar Acey, Jr., beloved son of the late Oscar Acey, Sr. and Idella Acey, was born on March 25, 1938 in Talbot County, Ga. On July 16, 2018, Oscar Acey, Jr. finished the race and transitioned into the bosom of his everlasting Father. He heard the voice of the Almighty God and joyfully entered into a place of peace and everlasting rest.
At an early age, he committed his life to Christ and joined St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Manchester, Ga.
Oscar matriculated through the Talbot County School system and graduated from Ruth Carter High School in Talbotton, Ga. He was employed for several decades and retired from Colonial Baking Company in Atlanta, Georgia.
