Patricia Ann Owens Daniels

July 22, 1951 — August 16, 2019

Ms. Daniels was born “Patricia Ann Owens” on July 22, 1951 in Manchester, GA. She was the oldest of six children.   Roland Owens and Mrs. Johnnie Bell Weaver of Talbotton County,  Woodland and Manchester, GA, and the daughter of Annie Mae Childs of Manchester, GA.

Patricia Ann Daniels entered into rest on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the  age 68.

Patricia was educated and graduated from Manchester School Systems.  After graduating from Manchester High School, Ms. Daniels begin working in the front office at Goody's and Sons Hair Accessory Factory.

Patricia accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, when she joined the Concord Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.D. Daniels.  Patricia was a member of  the church choir and she loved to sing.

She later was united in holy matrimony to marry Leonard Daniels in 1984. They divorced years later. Patricia spent years as a Financial Aid Specialist at the University of Florida, before an unfortunate illness placed her in the Healthcare Consulate in Altamonte Springs, FL in 2001.

Ms. Daniels had a lovable personality and always had a smile on her face. It was in her nature to always go above and beyond to help people.   Patricia was an excellent cook and had a strong passion for it. All who had the pleasure of tasting her dishes would agree that she could have been a chef.  She constantly expressed her unending love and for her nieces and nephews.

At an early age became like a sister to her Uncle John Roland Owens, Uncle Willie James Owens, Aunt Sarah Virginia Owens Brooks, Uncle J.C. Owens of Manchester, GA and Betty Jean Owens Brown of Atlanta, GA.

Patricia will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters: Lester Childs of Atlanta, GA, Stanley and Trudy Bedell Childs of Manchester, GA.; Gloria Jean Childs Jones of New Jersey, Ronnie and Pastor, Patissia, Paul Childs andSharon Hixon Childs both of  Manchester, GA. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.that will miss Patricia very dearly.
