The angels of heaven descended to earth, early Thursday morning, to deliver Sarah Louise Warren to our Heavenly Father. Sarah was born on November 19, 1928, in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Lula and Paris Jones.
She was educated in Phenix City school.
Early in her life she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and joined Franchise Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. S.A. Harvey. She worked on the following ministries Sunday School Teacher and the WWTK.
She married Lonnie Luckerson Sr. this union was blessed with five kids.
Sarah was known throughout the community as “Sate”. Sarah was a giver. She always supported the children and she always believed in her kids getting a good education. She worked hard to send the kids to the best schools St. Anne-Pacelli and Mother Mission Private Schools. Her support in education didn’t stop with just her children even her grandchildren. Sarah started volunteering at Mother Mary Mission where she volunteered in the same class as her grandson Zackary.
Sarah was a pure joy to anyone who she met, the smile that she wore could light up the darkest of rooms.
She later married Zack Warren that union was blessed with two sons.
She was proceeded in death by three children: Lonnie Luckerson Jr., Shirley Jones and Eddie Warren. Two grandchildren: Maxine Warren and Carlos Luckerson. Siblings: Alma Mack, Jessie Dawson John Wright and Otis Wright.
Sarah leaves her life’s legacy to her four children: Ronnie (Sylvia) Luckerson, Debbie Long both of Phenix City, Ala. Abraham (Linda) Luckerson of Newan, GA.; Jack (Felicia) Warren of Manchester, GA. Seventeen Grandchildren: Robert A. (Varicia) Jones Jr., Richard A. Jones, Rodney A. (Evonie) Jones, Tajouna and Lonya Luckerson, Carla (Chris) Lee, Ronnie Jr., Ronnetta Shagal (Raheeam) Long, Adriene Long, Eric (Katrina) Long, Brandon (Monique) Long, LaKeisha Frederick, LaTrice Luckerson, Ebony, Egypt Warren, CA.; Zackary (Keela) Warren and Max Warren. Thirty-two great grandchildren and 12 Great – Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews: Marilyn, Ronnie, and Tracy Mack all of Boston, Mass.
