Shirley Ann King

Shirley A. King was born on September 21, 1949 in Manchester, Georgia to Randolph King (who proceeded her in death) and Otha Hardnett.  Shirley graduated from MCT High School in Manchester, Ga.  She continued her education and attended Fort Valley State College.  Shirley furthered her education in Special Education where she taught in Talbot County, Meriwether County, and Bibb County for over 30 years.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories to the following: mother, Otha Hardnett; 3 sisters, Emma (Fred) Weston from Thomaston, GA; Helen (Granville) Grier from Atlanta, GA; Brenda Harper from Warm Springs, GA; 7 brothers, 1 preceded her Henry Jones from Manchester, GA; James McKinney (Linda) from Atlanta, GA; Earvin King, Leonard Green, Robert Green, Michael Copeland all from Manchester, GA; Kirk (Lois) Copeland from LaGrange, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and MCT Classmates of 1967 and friends who she dearly loved.
