A Time to be Born
Mr. Timmy Rush was born September 26, 1964 in Manchester, Georgia. He was the fifth child of Elizabeth Rush and the son of the late Luther McFarlin.
A Time to Live
Timmy grew up in Manchester, Ga. He joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age. He was educated in the Meriwether County School System and graduated from Manchester High School in 1983.
For over twenty years Timmy had a successful career in car sales and was the recipient of many awards and trophies. He was employed by Meadows Ford of Manchester and All Pro of LaGrange. He was repeatedly recognized for being the top salesperson of the month.
Timmy was married to Vickie Rush and from this union they were blessed with one child, Asha Rush.
Timmy was always known for being a sharp dresser and took pride in “looking good.”
A Time to Transition
Timmy departed this earthly home and went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
A Time to Weep and Mourn
Timmy Rush leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother, Elizabeth Rush. Four children: Kirsten Terry (Tommy), Asha Rush, and Malik and Malia Marshall. Four grandchildren: Kartiay, Tomaury, Karmelo, and King Lockhart. Five sisters: Lynette Buggs (Kennedy), Brenda Anderson, Gloria Davis (Alton), Nell Wilkins, and Patricia Martin (Brian) all of Georgia. Five brothers: Willie James Rush (LaVern) and Bernard Rush (Erica) of Georgia, Michael Rush (Iretha) of Tampa, FL, Luther Ford of Seattle, WA, and Kunta Kinte Ford of Hobart, OK. One brother-in-law: Sammy Howard, who was a caretaker and friend. Two aunts: Irene Hunt and Annie Adams of Manchester. Two great aunts: Ellen Weaver and Jimmie Barnes of Columbus, GA. Timmy also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
