Willie Lee Geddis, affectionately known as “Kid,” was born on April 3, 1951, and peacefully entered eternal rest on January 18, 2026.

Willie was a man of pride, presence, and purpose. He had a deep love for cars and took great pride in dressing well—always believing in having the best of the best. A hardworking and determined businessman, Willie was the owner of Geddis and Geddis Trucking, which he successfully operated for over 30 years, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, perseverance, and excellence.

Above all, Willie was a family man. He loved all of his children dearly and took his role seriously as a provider and protector. He shared a special bond with his siblings, whom he loved deeply, and he was known for standing strong for those he cared about.

Willie Lee Geddis will be remembered for his strength, his style, his unwavering work ethic, and the love he poured into his family. His legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents: Annie Lee and Herbert Geddis; spouse: Angela Elaine Tompkins-Geddis; siblings: Randy Geddis, Reginald Geddis, Johnnie Will, Herbert Geddis Jr, Charlie (Mary) Geddis; one son: Charlie Lee Geddis.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Antelill, Jantineal, Shaneal, Willie Jr., Shevilla, William, Demarcus, Demario, Tiechi (Tasha), Latrese (Willie) Pritchard, Latrice, Jordan and Solomon. Siblings: Shirley (Willie Charles) Patrick, Jane, Diann, Joyce (Benny), Gloria, Larry Geddis. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
